Villa Sassi is a property located on the hillside over Tellaro, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Montemarcello-Magra, overlooking the Gulf of Poets.
The villa is placed within an olive grove which has its start in Tellaro and extends all the way to the road towards Montemarcello; the olive grove, which belongs to the property, with over 300 species of olive trees of the Taggiasca variety, has an average production of 200kg of biologic, DOP Tellaro oil per year.
The driveway from the provincial road leads to the garage and to a wide parking space connected to the house through a panoramic monorail, about 300-meters-long, on which an electric, remote-control-operated convoy, equipped with wagons to transport passengers as well as goods, travels.
The villa, of around 174sqm, has a double entrance, from either the first floor or on the same level as the garden.
Entering the villa from the upper floor, we step into a passageway with a wonderful glass-wall opening onto a large, panoramic terrace; on this floor, we also find a double bedroom and the master bedroom with walk-in-closet and spacious bathroom. Downstairs, we have a double hall with fireplace and sliding glass-wall to eventually obtain a guest bedroom, the dining area and the kitchen. From the hall, we reach the porch from where to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Poets.
Within the leveled garden, olive trees, cactuses, agaves and Indian figs merge with multiple varieties of flowers and shrubs to create a calming, unexpected landscape with lounging and dining areas as well as barbecue throughout all seasons.
The hamlet of Tellaro and its beaches are reachable with a 10-minutes walk through a path that can be accessed from the property.
